Earlier last year, the MOBO committee launched the latest series of their successful MOBO Unsung program, the MOBO’s talent initiative which seeks to launch and celebrate strong emerging talent.
From over 500 entries over the summer, public voting has now whittled the artist list to ten finalists – all of whom the MOBOs strongly believe have what it takes to cut through to the big-league, and as such, the committee will acknowledge their commitment by enrolling the finalists into the MOBO UnSung Artist Development Programme (essentially offering the new wave of artists various platforms, including performance opportunities, industry mentoring and studio time with recognised producers).
Earlier this week, the MOBOs unveiled live sessions of two of the ten finalists – Tiana Major9 and Basheba, both of whom manage to encapsulate with their strong vocal abilities.
