Originally shared back in 2013, Sam Smith has confirmed the release of Lay Me Down as the latest single from his hugely-successful debut album In The Lonely Hour.
Set to land on later this month, Lay Me Down hears a slight rework versus the original (a minuscule nip & tuck) with some enhancement of the strings throughout. It’s a nice touch, and still a wonderful song all those years on.
Lay Me Down drops on iTunes on 22nd February so hit the link to preorder; watch Smith take it to church in the full video below:
