Sometimes, you have to disregard being a genre-snob when you hear of artist as skilled and original as Cosmo Sheldrake. With a a solid 2014 which saw him being granted kudos by Radio 1 alongside appearing on last year’s Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent Competition longlist, the 25 year-old looks to expand his fanbase with Tardigrade Song – a soaring indie/ska-inspired cut that channels catchiness along the lines of Metronomy, or even early-Nutini.
Set to be the lead track from Sheldrake’s forthcoming debut EP (out soon via Transgressive), the unveiling of Tardigrade Song coincides with his upcoming UK tour. Check the full dates below and stream Tardigrade Song after the jump
