Last year, Prince surprised fans by causing mayhem in London with a string of guerrilla gigs around the capital; today, word reaches that the Purple One will embark on Camden’s Koko for a one-off surprise show, tonight!
Whilst news is unconfirmed at this moment, signs are swirling Twitter of the event actually happening. Koko rarely stage events on Monday nights, so it’s unsurprising the short notice of the venue’s availability.
According to the good folk over at Gigwise, “….the ‘Purple Rain’ icon will be hitting up Koko in Camden tonight for the Autism Rocks charity and is due on stage around 10pm. If true, ticket details will be announced shortly.”
