Angel Haze has surprised fans by unveiling a brand new track online.
Titled CANDLXS (aka ‘Candles’), the track is the first full-length solo feature from the US artist since her brilliant 2013 debut album Dirty Gold, and lives up to the promises Haze made last year regarding new material more song-led.
“Singing is my first love. I started as a singer and was a really, really bad rapper,” said Haze to NME last year, continuing “I wanted to get better and in the midst of me getting better I got signed”.
It’s unconfirmed at this stage whether CANDLXS leads Angel Haze’s anticipated full-length project, or whether it’s just one of those ‘for the net’ pieces; either way, it’s great to hear her back!
