Lady Leshurr has debuted the official visual for new track Lukatar, a humorous take on love rivals (primarily ‘inspired’ by the unforgettable ‘lukatar’ girl from The Jeremy Kyle Show last year).
Admittedly, Lady Leshurr would probably be pissed with us for saying this – one of rap’s most centric appeals is the focus on social and personal issues, and hardly meant to be one to jump around the room waiting for the track to loop…. however with Lukatar, that’s exactly what Leshurr does – we’re massively feeling this one. It’s tongue-in-cheek, it’s sprightly, and above all, it shows the naysayers that the UK grime/rap scene doesn’t always need to have violent connotations.
Lukatar is yet to receive an official release date; in the interim though, stream below – if you haven’t guessed yet, we’re enjoying this one!
