Time for a bit of mechanical-garage now, as Northampton-based producer Jay Faded unveils Riddles, a champion cut entwined with some strong progressive bass.
Absolutely one of those that’ll get the monitors stirring inside you on the dancefloor, Riddles harks closer to the darker, underground ties of UKG than those you may have been used to from the early years (more potentially ‘mid-CD2-of-a-garage-compliation’), but as the UK strives to push bass music whilst the rest of the world catches up, Riddles nicely slots in there as a shining example of how Brits are turbo-charging the dance world.
