Following last year’s stint in Glasgow, the BBC have announced this year’s Radio 1 Big Weekend is set to take over Norwich later this summer.
Set to hit the city’s Earlham Park on the weekend of 23rd & 24th May, Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2015 is set to continue the station’s pride in being the largest free-ticketed event in the UK’s summer-festival calendar.
Set to be headlined by Taylor Swift (whose new album 1989 has swept charts globally), Big Weekend have also announced Context to lead the line-up for the BBC Introducing Stage. Already wowing us with last year’s The System (from his superb Stealing My Older Brother’s Tapes EP), Context has already garnered attention from the likes of Radio 1 & 1Xtra’s Zane Lowe and Mistajam, alongside Ed Sheeran and Mike Skinner (amongst others).
More line-up announcements are expected to appear over the coming months, whilst ticket details will also be revealed soon. Stay locked to Stagedoor FM for the latest in all this summer’s festival action.
