New music: Snakehips – ‘Gone’ (ft The Internet)

Regular Stagedoor FM readers should be well-acquainted with Snakehips, the London-based electronic-R&B duo who have captivated us over the past couple of years, thanks to their sublime, silky, influence on the future of the genre.

Today hears Snakehips team up with Odd Future-offshoots, The Internet, on the smooth Gone. Premiered by Fader, Gone represents Snakehips taking things to the next level, continuing with their now-signature dreamlike loops to create something that’s so calming, it whisks you a few months into the future, elevating your mind to sitting under the summer’s sunshine rays.

Gone is the first cut from Snakehips’ forthcoming Forever (Pt II) EP, and with output as strong as this, we can’t wait to hear what the rest of the collection entails. Stream below:
