New music: Aaron Smith – ‘Dancin’ (Philip George remix)

Fresh from the storming success of his debut chart single Wish You Were Mine, young British producer Philip George has unveiled his remix of Aaron Smith’s iconic 2005 cut, Dancin’.

Premiered by Dancing Astronaut, George’s edit signifies ‘more of the same’ from Wish You Were Mine – this is no bad thing whatsoever, mind; categorically this shows how strong Philip George’s production skills are for the current rebirth of solid house music the UK is currently enjoying. Add to the fact that the remix probably delivers Dancin’ to a new audience who [criminally] may not be acquainted with the original, Philip George’s reimagination of Smith’s classic hopefully sets the scene for further exciting house jams, from both George himself, alongside the rest of the industry.
