Basement Jaxx have unveiled their new remix of Mary J Blige’s 2014 cut, the Disclosure-produced Right Now.
Lifted off Blige’s new The London Sessions collection, the Jaxx duo give their signature tropical spin on their Right Now edit, albeit this time throwing in some garage/bass-inspired beats. Essentially, the end-result works massively-well; if anything, erring toward a UKG-approach could be an interesting direction for Basement Jaxx as this edit shows.
Stream their new interpretation of Right Now, below – Basement Jaxx’s remix follows edits from the likes of Shadow Child and Zed Bias.
