Glastonbury 2015: The Dalai Lama confirms appearance

The Dalai Lama has confirmed he will be attending this year’s Glastonbury Festival, providing a talk on the final day of the iconic annual event.

The Tibetan Buddhist leader announced the news on his official website over the weekend (which has since been deleted), however the post seemingly confirmed his appearance (the venue is TBC however it’s likely that he will grace the Healing Fields or the Green Fields for his early-morning inspirational speech).

Alongside the Dalai Lama, Lionel Richie has also been confirmed for Glastonbury 2015, which runs from 24-28th June this year. Tickets sold out in record time when they went on sale last October, whilst the full line-up is expected to be announced over the coming months.

We’ll be reporting on all Glastonbury 2015 news as and when we hear it.
