Joey Badass has unveiled On & On, the smooth 90s-inspired rap cut lifted off his upcoming debut album B4.DA.$$.
Featuring young Brooklyn MC Dyemond Lewis, alongside our very own Maverick Sabre (the latter supplying the slick chorus & hook), On & On transports listeners back to the quality hip-hop output of the 1990s; consider early J5 and you’re probably somewhat near. In fact, whilst it may not have the huge impact of many outlandish rap tracks we hear today, for early hip-hop fans On & On is something of a distinguished gem – strong bars, a smooth chorus, and all encapsulated together thanks to Freddie Joachim’s wondrous production.
