Video premiere: Basement Jaxx – ‘Rock This Road’ (feat. Shakka)

Following their sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena last week, Basement Jaxx have debuted the official video for Rock This Road, their collaboration with London musician Shakka.

Released today, Rock This Road is lifted from the Jaxx’s seventh studio album Junto, whilst the video itself is as crazy and ridiculous as you’d probably expect from the dance heroes. You know, normal Basement Jaxx story – Shakka plays an effective intergalactic ‘Lord of the Dance’, who seeks to teach earthlings a thing or two about rocking the dancefloor… with consequences of course (Shakka using dance to fuel his own power).

Obvious story, right?

Anyhows, catch the visual in full below. Junto‘s out now… it’s VERY good, and keeps to the basic Basement Jaxx formula, that somehow will never tire. Basically, go buy it (you can get it via the iTunes link).
