Following a mysterious bout of illness that forced the former Spice Girl to miss the first part of the X Factor UK live final, the hit UK show has confirmed that Mel B will return to the hot-seat tonight.
In a statement, The X Factor UK bosses said “After being discharged from hospital and following medical advice, Mel B has been deemed well enough to do the show. We’re delighted to have her back on the panel.”
Last night, Mel B was replaced by last year’s Tulisa Contostavlos as a short-term stand-in, in the episode which saw finalist Andrea Faustini leaving the show as second runner-up. Fleur East and Ben Haenow are the remaining two contestants fighting it out in the battle for whom will be crowned the winner. Tonight’s show is also set to see live performances from Sam Smith and One Direction.
