Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Sia & Charli XCX amongst Grammy 2015 nominees

Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Charli XCX are flying the British flag in the nominations for 2015’s Grammy Awards, organisers have confirmed.

Announced on US TV earlier today, The Grammy Awards 2015 sees Smith nominated for Record Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance (both for Stay With Me) alongside Best Pop Vocal Album for his huge debut, In The Lonely Hour. Sheeran, meanwhile, sees his sophomore record X also in the Best Pop Vocal Album category, whilst Charli XCX’s collaboration with Iggy Azalea on Fancy goes up against Sam Smith (alongside Taylor Swift, Sia and Meghan Trainor) for the Record Of The Year.

Sia’s Chandelier, meanwhile, is up for the aforementioned Record of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. Check the latest nominations below; we’ll be updating this post throughout the day.
