Following his appearance on Gorgon City’s Unmissable back in July, Zak Abel branches out on his own with soulful new jam These Are The Days.
Produced by Joker (himself now back on the scene with the wonderful Midnight, the uplifting These Are The Days hears Abel across an almost Timberlake/Senorita-inspired beat that, whilst may not be as impactful as his Gorgon City tie-in, works wonders for Zak himself as he looks to carve out his own solo work. Timberlake-levels he may not be at yet, but These Are The Days is definitely a strong start. Think a British Aloe Blacc and we could be not-too-far-off.
