Fleetwood Mac are to headline 2015’s Isle Of Wight festival, the band have confirmed.
Set to take the stage on the coveted main stage, the iconic band will close Isle Of Wight on Sunday 14th June, and marks the first time Fleetwood Mac have appeared at the festival.
Regarding the confirmed fixture, Fleetwood Mac said “We’ve always wanted to come to the UK to play The Isle of Wight Festival, and so we are delighted that in 2015, we are finally making it happen!…. So many of our fellow artists and friends have played at this historic event over the years, and we can’t wait to see all of our fans on the island next summer”
Fleetwood Mac’s appearance at Isle of Wight follows 24 hours on from Lionel Ritchie’s confirmation of a Glastonbury 2015 performance, marking the first major artist to be announced for the iconic festival, which takes place a fortnight after Isle of Wight.
