Elton John has announced a 2015 UK stadium tour for next summer, sending Glastonbury rumours into a spin thanks to the timing of the dates.
Set to start the four-date mini-tour at Gloucester’s Kingsholm Stadium on 7th June, the appearances will continue in Walsall and Glasgow, before concluding at Aberdeen’s AECC on 20th June, four days prior to Glastonbury 2015 opening its gates.
Sir Elton John has yet to headline Glastonbury Festival; his appearance at 2013’s Bestival marked his first ever headline slot, so he will undoubtedly be a welcome addition to Glastonbury’s big-hitters when 150,000 fans set up at Worthy Farm between 24-28th June.
