Regular Stagedoor FM readers should be well-acquainted with Lapsley by now, the young Liverpudlian musician whose subtle harmonies and ability to distort her vocals in a plethora of ways, have become a down-right pleasure to the ears.
In celebration of her new release Falling Short, Lapsley recently paid a visit to BBC Introducing’s Maida Vale studios for a stunning rendition of the track, the fruits of which can be seen below.
The BBC have long-championed Lapsley, with Falling Short itself appearing on Annie Mac’s recent compilation album Annie Mac Presents, whilst her breakthrough track Station fast-became a regular on Annie’s Musical Hot Water Bottle Radio 1 show.
We’re excited for what else is to come from Lapsley – 2015 is shaping up to be a good year for the youngster!
