Charli XCX channels her inner-angst in new track Breaking Up, a promo single from her upcoming third studio album, Sucker.
Breaking Up seems a pretty-striking song to be fair, in fact, probably the most impactful track we’ve heard from Charli since Boom Clap earlier this year (and that’s still spinning on our phones god-knows-how-many-months on). It’s edgy, it’s full of teen-angst, and potentially could assist Charli in fulfilling the gap of ‘ex-romance’ tracks since Taylor Swift switched to pure-pop.
Expect Breaking Up to be playlisted when it hits radio stations over the coming days (though it’s yet to be confirmed whether the track will be released as an official single).
Regardless, stream below in full [via Direct Lyrics], and hit the iTunes link to preorder Sucker now – the album lands next month.
