Fresh from his UKG-inspired remix of Jessie Ware’s Keep On Lying, Preditah channels the genre again, this time with new release, Selecta.
Premiered by Annie Mac earlier this evening, Selecta pays a strong homage to Artful Dodger and Craig David’s 1999 anthem Rewind, the track that kick-started the careers for both camps, alongside being the song that some may say finally tipped UK garage from underground to the commercial masses.
Featuring a heavy sample of Craig David’s iconic chorus, Selecta is guaranteed to throw you back to the heyday of UKG, and with good reason too – this is garage for the 21st century crowd.
