Following last week’s feature on XO’s Pulling Me Under Leo Kalyan has unveiled new solo cut, Stranger, a sublime mid-tempo ballad, full of drum-kicks that support Kalyan’s soulful vocal range.
Produced by Shift K3Y, the cut is the title-track from Kalyan’s forthcoming mixtape (release-date still TBC), and is a gushing (yet shining) example of the quality of young artists that are starting to emerge from the UK. We’re fairly entranced by Stranger we must admit; though not the track’s intention, listening to it whisks you off to a desolate island without any cares in the world. This is some sublime soul!
