Still riding high on the deserved-success of her sophomore album Tough Love, Jessie Ware has unveiled the Shift K3Y remix of her brand new single You & I (Forever).
One of our favourites from Jessie’s new collection, the track was written in collaboration with Miguel and BenZel, with Ware stating that the song is “about waiting for someone to say they want to be yours and they aren’t going anywhere”. “I wanted it to have a driving feel to it” she says, “probably because we were in LA and you are always in the car here. I wanted it to feel optimistic, I think that was also the LA sun helping with that”.
Shift K3Y’s remix falls part of the upcoming You & I (Forever) remix EP, which will also see edits from Kidnap Kid, SG Lewis and Bobby Tank. The gorgeous You & I (Forever) will also be included in Jessie Ware’s upcoming live shows, supporting Tough Love at a range of dates across the UK, Ireland and Europe early next year.
