Almost a month after the unveiling of the RobLaw-featuring Through the Night, British producer XO has shared Pulling Me Under, the second cut from his upcoming Through the Night EP.
Premiered initially by Annie Mac last Friday, the smooth Pulling Me Under hears XO collaborate with Leo Kalyan, the young vocalist who undoubtedly you’ll be hearing a lot more from in the not-so-distance future (Kalyan comes from the same school-of-brilliance as the likes of Becky Hill, MNEK, Ryan Ashley etc).
Both Kalyan and XO trump with this one – Kalyan’s exquisite vocals add a softer, yet soulful tone to XO’s electro-soul/house crossover, with some slightly darker synths scattered in too (akin to the likes of SecondCity’s What Can I Do – you’ll get the gist when you listen).
