Following their impressive Steal My Girl, One Direction have unveiled 18, the next track to be lifted off the British boybands upcoming album, FOUR.
Written by Ed Sheeran (which is the reason why we’re covering this track – you know we kind of like to leave this kind of stuff to the other more pop-oriented sites), 18 continues One Direction’s strive to leave their more bubblegum-focused music by the wayside, to something far more mature. There’s an aura of Story Of My Life about this one (One Direction’s 2013 hit, written by Jamie Scott) – what 18 shows, evidently, is that whilst you might not be the biggest fan of the group, they have a top-notch team of writers by their side, and can carry-off pretty much anything.
