Following this morning’s unveiling of the Bruno Mars-featuring Uptown Funk, Mark Ronson has unveiled a further track from his upcoming album, by way of Daffodils.
Featuring Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, Daffodils further ignites Ronson’s American South-inspiration for the new record (titled Uptown Special, due for release in January), and is as haunting as it is mesmerising and hypnotic. If anything, Daffodils oozes quality, much like Uptown Funk too; first play will likely get you hooked.
Stream the radio rip of Daffodils below, which received its official radio premiere earlier this evening by Zane Lowe, and tarnished with Lowe’s coveted ‘Hottest Record’ brush. Uptown Special is set for release on January 26th, whilst Uptown Funk, Ronson’s new collaboration with Bruno Mars, drops a fortnight prior (and can be preordered via the iTunes link). Mark Ronson’s full interview with Zane Lowe can be heard after the jump too.
