Earlier in the week, Jessie Ware announced her new ‘Jessie Ware: Remixed’ project, a collaboration with Red Bull Studios around the globe and five of the most impressive, and important, producers cross-genres, alongside Ware’s Tough Love track, Keep On Lying.
Today, the first culmination of the new project appears, with Birmingham-born producer Preditah taking the helm.
With an intro that hears Ware pay respect to the genre (“I’d love a garage beat, if I could f**king have a garage beat” she says), Preditah works wonders on the remix, with a soulful/UKG-inspired edit that takes the sultry track back to the mid/late-90s.
Preditah’s remix of Keep On Lying received its premiere via Noisey earlier today, and is available to stream below. Tough Love, Jessie Ware’s follow-up to her impeccable 2012 debut Devotion, is out now via the iTunes link.
