Whilst it may have leaked in low-quality (and live) renditions over the past few weeks, Swedish House Mafia members Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso have unveiled their epic new single Can’t Hold Us Down, and whilst we at Stagedoor FM usually take a stance against EDM, the track is far too special to ignore.
Premiering in its entirety moments ago by Zane Lowe (touted as his ‘Hottest Record In The World’, Axwell Ingrosso seem to be looking to take the genre to future levels with Can’t Hold Us Down. Citing a more ‘mechanical’ feel (akin to ‘Daft Punk on acid’ thanks to the heavily manipulated robotic vocals), Can’t Hold Us Down is the fruition of heavy work from the duo over the past year.
Set to be the lead release from Axwell Ingrosso’s upcoming debut collection (as a duo, anyway), the new project has yet to receive a title, or a release date, but a feature with Pusha T has been confirmed by the two dance heroes.
