Glastonbury Festival organiser Michael Eavis has announced that neither heavily-rumoured Fleetwood Mac, nor Queen, would feature in the line-up for next year’s iconic event.
Speaking to Music Week, Eavis confirmed that all three headliners have been booked, saying “Queen? Not Queen, no, no…. Fleetwood Mac don’t seem to be available at the moment. But we’ve got three excellent headliners for next year.”, before confirming that one of the headliners had “been around for quite a long time.”
The heralded farm-owner also confirmed that April will be the date when we hear about the headliners – “It will remain a mystery until April 1 next year!” confirms XFM
Glastonbury Festival 2015 runs from 24-28th June at Somerset’s Worthy Farm – accommodation at the plush Worthy View sold out in a record 15-minutes when they went on sale earlier this week.
