We dropped the initial track a couple of weeks ago (check it here), but now new Black Butter-signing Elderbrook has dropped an official remix of Could, courtesy of The Six.
Taken from his upcoming Simmer Down EP (out next month), The Six’s remix keeps close to the original in the intro, before morphing into an exquisite downbeat bass-led house cut (with some wonderful electronic undertones), not far-removed from the early days of Gorgon City. It’s a strong head-nodder all the way, and morphs the lo-fi original into more of a house-set inclusion.
Stream below; Elderbrook’s Simmer Down lands on 24th November; seriously, we don’t think Black Butter have the capability of putting out a BAD release…. everything seems to be full of gold!
