When Lapsley’s Station started doing the rounds earlier this year, we knew there was something incredibly-special about the youngster, and it seems we weren’t the only ones.
Garnering a growing following, including the likes of Radio 1’s Annie Mac, alongside pretty-much everyone else in the industry, it’s with massive applause that we hear Lapsley has been signed to XL Records (home to FKA Twigs, Jungle, Adele, Jamie XX etc). To celebrate the signing, the young 18 year-old (real name Holly Fletcher) has also confirmed her debut EP Understudy.
Set to land early next year, the four-track project leads with the exquisite Falling Short (unveiled at the back-end of last month), and will feature three all-new tracks, Brownlow, Dancing and 8896 (the latter one would presume as Lapsley’s birthday).
