Noel Gallagher has quashed rumours of an Oasis reunion, however expressed that he’d love to headline Somerset’s Glastonbury Festival.
Taking to Facebook’s London HQ earlier today, where Gallagher also announced Chasing Yesterday, his new album with his High Flying Birds band, the ex-Oasis member said of the headline slot, when questioned, that “I’d be up for doing it, I’m going regardless.”
Chasing Yesterday is set to hit shelves in March, with the album’s lead single In The Heat Of The Moment, set to land next month. Tickets for Glastonbury 2015, which takes place between 24-28th June next year, sold out in record time when they went on sale last Sunday; registration however has reopened for those hoping to grab ones in the spring resale.
So far, no artists or bands have been confirmed for the iconic event, however rumours are spiralling that AC/DC, Coldplay, Foo Fighters and Fleetwood Mac will make appearances on the Pyramid Stage.
