As part of the promotion for her upcoming album 1989 (set for release later this month), Taylor Swift dropped in on Radio 1’s Live Lounge earlier today to perform her unplugged rendition of new single Shake It Off.
During her stint however, Swift also chose a stripped-back performance of Vance Joy’s Riptide as her mystery ‘Live Lounge Cover’ of choice. Riptide is still one of our favourite tracks to emerge this year, and we’re certain Vance Joy would approve of Taylor’s cover. Leading the track on the keys, Swift’s rendition was absolutely beautiful – definitely one to check out.
