Ed Sheeran has unveiled the official visual for Thinking Out Loud, the third release from his hit sophomore album, x.
Featuring Ed in ballroom dance-mode (a complete first for the artist), the Thinking Out Loud visual is an absolute work of art, probably one of our favourites from Ed to date (even beating that of the intelligently-creative You Need Me (I Don’t Need You) from 2011.
Last week, x earned Sheeran two notable accolades, after being revealed as both the biggest selling album of 2014 so far alongside the fastest-selling album of the year. Though only being released four moths ago, x spent eight weeks at No.1 in the UK album charts, and has so far sold over 600,000 copies in the UK alone. Whilst both these are impressive feats, with One Direction’s fourth studio album (the aptly-titled FOUR) landing next month, alongside Adele’s anticipated 25 expected imminently, it would be interesting to see whether Sheeran still holds these accolades by year-end.
