Ed Sheeran has teased details of a new project with Rudimental and US rapper, The Game.
Upon speaking to Metro’s ‘Guilty Pleasures’ today, Sheeran was asked to name his best unreleased collaboration, to which the acclaimed artist confirmed a “whole record [I] did with Rudimental and The Game, which is really interesting. It will definitely come out – it just won’t be this year”.
Sheeran’s collaboration with The Game was actually confirmed back in April, though the addition of Rudimental is a welcoming surprise. Speaking of the project back earlier in the year, The Game cited praise on Ed Sheeran, saying “Acoustically, he’s a genius, man, so when he does that, what comes out of me is songs like ‘Dreams’ and ‘Hate It or Love It’ and ‘My Life.’ The songs that we got, they’re real songs. And I can’t wait for people to hear ‘em.”
During the ‘Guilty Pleasures’ interview, Sheeran also confirmed he’d love to write something for Britney Spears. More on the Rudimental / The Game project as we hear it.
