Pharrell has shared the official visual for his new single It Girl, the latest single to be lifted from his second studio album G I R L (alongside one of our favourites from the new collection).
Produced by prolific contemporary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, the visual sees an ‘Anime-oriented’ approach, a completely fresh style that’s never really been explored by global artists. The video also sees Pharrell recreated in ‘Super Nintendo videogame’ form (it’s explain all once you watch it).
We love it; perhaps that’s also to do with the strength of the track, but we’re enjoying the new approach Pharrell has explored with this one.
