Organisers of the annual Glastonbury Festival in Pilton, Somerset, have confirmed the on-sale date for next year’s event.
With this year’s event selling out in record time when tickets went on sale last October (Glastonbury 2014 sold out in a ‘record time’ of 84 minutes), all eyes will be on official-sellers See Tickets’ website at 9am on Sunday 5th October. It’s expected that over one million hopeful attendees will flock to the page to snap up the 120k-odd tickets.
Those who are looking to purchase coach tickets will have access earlier, with coach & ticket packages receiving their release on Wednesday 1st October (7pm).
Glastonbury 2015 opens its doors at 8am Wednesday 24th June 2015; whilst organiser Michael Eavis has already confirmed that the headliner acts for next year have already been booked.
Only those who have registered, and have had their photographic ID approved by Glastonbury, will be eligible to purchase tickets. For more information, head over to Glastonbury’s official website, www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk
