Easily one of the most refreshing acts to emerge over the past 12 months is Seinabo Sey, the young Swedish alt-soul singer who enchanted us with her cuts Hard Time and Younger earlier this year (particularly Kygo’s remix of the latter).
Well now, following on from her impressive debuts, Seinabo Sey has shared brand new track, Pistols At Dawn. Her voice instantly-recognisable in this brash (yet ironically almost downbeat lo-fi) attempt; admittedly it did take a couple of plays for us to get brought into the song, but once we did, we were captured.
Pistols At Dawn actually received its world premiere a few weeks back, falling part of the sync music used in Rimmel London’s latest TV ad, whilst Sey also performed the track live at the Stay Out West in Gothenburg at the start of August.
It’s yet to be confirmed whether the track will formulate any kind of EP or album (we hope both in fairness), but nay bother, you can stream Pistols At Dawn in its entirety below.
