Lifted off her upcoming debut album Aquarius, 2-On singer Tinashe has dropped Pretend, a thunderous down-tempo R&B jam.
Coming less than two weeks since the unveiling of another album track, In The Meantime, Pretend continues Tinashe’s strive as a bonafide R&B artist, and perfectly ripe for summer, well, what’s left of it anyways. There seems to be a slight hint of K Stewart in there (see TCTS’ Games) from a vocal standpoint. A$AP Rocky also makes a cool appearance toward the end of the track, with a slick verse that’ll instantly transport you back to the early 90s.
Nice one Tinashe! Aquarius lands on 7th October:
