Bastille have shared their first piece of new music since their debut album Bad Blood, with new single Bad News.
Premiered by Radio 1’s Huw Stevens, Bastille’s frontman Dan Smith confirmed that the British group have been readying a series of new EPs and mixtapes – Bad News is the lead release from the band’s upcoming collection, Oblivion.
Featuring tones remarkably different to their previous material, Bad News features some impressive loops and synths throughout, with Smith’s signature vocals seemingly-faded (whilst still massively prominent); if this is the kind of style Bastille are looking to approach, we’re not complaining.
