Following up from last month’s brilliant Be There, MORRT has unveiled Want U, an exquisite slice of soulful-house, embedded with a nu-garage flow.
Thanks to the vocal samples of Toni Braxton’s iconic You’re Makin’ Me High, Want U feels like a follow-up from SecondCity’s chart-smash I Wanna Feel from earlier this year…. who said samples can only be used once?!? This is quality stuff.
An official release date has yet to be confirmed, however it’s likely MORRT will be utilising both Be There and Want U to showcase his talents as a remixer, sampler and all-round producer. It works well.
