It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything new from Jacob Banks, but that’s all changed with the release of the visual for his commercial debut single Move With You.
Set for release on 31st August, Move With You sees the emerging Birmingham-born Worthy singer (and Chase and Status collaborator) funk things up across an almost Nile Rodgers-esque guitar beat, with his own vocals still shining as a proving ground for his impressive talent.
In our eyes, Move With You, which received its world premiere this morning on Trevor Nelson’s 1Xtra show, seems similar in stance to Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black era – strong, solid, soul with a catch hook.
