Kano, one of our favourite grime MCs from the past decade, has shared two brand new tracks, Flow Of The Year and Dirty Die.
Premiered yesterday on 1Xtra (Flow Of The Year on Mistajam’s show, Dirty Die via Cameo’s show later in the evening), both tracks mark a strong return to the scene from the Ps & Qs MC. The former (Flow Of The Year) sees a feature with JME, overlayed with a sprightly, almost Low Deep-esque backing-beat, whilst Dirty Die sees Kano go harsher in his approach across a darker instrumental. Both genius examples of how grime is embracing the more electronic scene currently.
