The anticipated fourth season of cult US TV show Homeland has been unveiled, confirming the return of key main characters Carrie Mathison and Saul Berenson.
The short teaser, premiered last night, sees Mathison (US actress Claire Danes) back on the field in Pakistan, where civil unrest is rife. It’s understood that the whole series of the show will be based there.
Damian Lewis (aka character Nicholas Brody) will not be returning to his role as has been initially hoped; internet rumours have been heavy of late, concluding that Brody was not actually killed in the climax of the third season, in an additional plot twist.
