Watch: G Eazy makes 1Xtra ‘Fire In The Booth’ debut

As part of the British promotional trail for new album These Things Happen, US rapper G Eazy paid a visit to 1Xtra over the weekend, making his debut on Charlie Sloth’s ‘Fire In The Booth’ show.

Morphing sounds closely compared to the likes of Drake (and potentially Asher Roth), G Eazy’s FITB appearance strongly added further credence that he’s definitely an interesting prospect in the rap game, particularly down to the intriguing overlaps in style between Eazy and Drake. It remains to be seen how These Things Happen will pan out, in terms of both sales success and critical reviews, however one thing’s for certain, Eazy’s ‘Fire In The Booth’ shows strong progression from the rapper since his 2011 mixtape The Endless Summer, and that can never be a bad thing.

Watch G Eazy’s full ‘Fire In The Booth’ below, and hit the iTunes link to preorder These Things Happen, set to drop next week (21st July).
