Brighton-based producer Paul Thomas Saunders has unveiled his 80’s synth-inspired remix of Lykke Li’s Gunshot.
Unveiled on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show on Sunday night (6th July), and receiving its online premiere via Dazed on Tuesday, Saunders’ take throws some beautiful electronic twists onto the track, the lead single from Lykke Li’s new album I Never Learn.
It’s a wonderful attempt; laid-back and pleasant enough to enjoy as a backing track for those sunny summer days, whilst upbeat enough for those nu-disco vibes.
