In celebration of the release of her new single Right Here earlier this week, Jess Glynne has taken to 1Xtra’s Live Lounge, unveiling her cover of R. Kelly’s iconic Ignition as her Live Lounge Cover of choice.
The performance, below, absolutely works wonders in portraying the strength in Glynne’s vocal abilities – whilst having appeared in two of the year’s biggest tracks (Clean Bandit’s Rather Be & Route 94’s My Love), there still hasn’t been the primary springboard to hear Glynne perform acoustically. Fortunately she pulled it off better than one could’ve hoped – Ignition isn’t the easiest song to sing, but we’re certain Kells would add his stamp of approval to this one.
