Ed Sheeran paid a visit to BBC Radio 1 earlier today (5th June) as part of the promotion for his latest single, SING, taking to the station’s coveted Live Lounge to belt out a strong performance of the track, the lead release from his upcoming sophomore album, X.
As part of his appearance, Sheeran also paid tribute to Sam Smith’s recent No.1 Stay With Me, performing the track as his Live Lounge Cover of choice… which, alongside SING, received rapturous feedback from listeners (alongside Smith himself, who congratulated Ed on Twitter).
