Watch: Charli XCX drops ‘Boom Clap’ video

After sharing the full track back in April, Charli XCX has premiered the official video for forthcoming single Boom Clap.

The video sees Charli take a trip across to Amsterdam, intershot with cuts from upcoming movie The Fault In Our Stars, the soundtrack from which Boom Clap is taken.

Charli sure is having a strong point in her career at the moment; sharing the No.1 duties over in the US with her feature on Iggy Azalea’s Fancy, whilst also generating some strong noise back here too, and winning over a fairly hardcore following. It’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for this young Brit (her collaboration with Alex Metric on 2011’s End Of The World is still a firm favourite in the Stagedoor FM office, even to this day).

Anyhow, back to the current – watch the full visual for Boom Clap below; the track is set for release on 6th July and can be preordered via the iTunes link:
